  1. I don't think all of it could be stop unless you did a look in every house like China did for guns. That they would get rid of all the heroin in there house and unreasonable search in the US. the people are addaction they will go through any hoops to get it and to feed it. The best way to do it is to no one in or out till they got everyone heroin out of there house to stop it. There than more than 10k overdoses are present with nasal spray. This is the worst thing because if you know you're addicted to it you already ruined your life at that time.

  2. Well first off I think that in order to stop the usage of heroin you need to stop the source of which is being affected by it. So I would start by getting the 669,000 heroin addicts help, and getting the younger generation not to use illegal drugs, especially Heroin. You need to make it known and get it out there that these drugs kill people, and ruins every day lives otherwise people think the only risk is going to jail. That is the only way they can stop this terrible drug from spreading is to get the people to stop using and be aware. The drug companies will otherwise just keep making their $832 million a year with no care in the world of what there drug is doing.

  3. Heroin is one of the most nasty drugs that the world has ever known, for there has to be an end to it. Luckily I have a theory that can probably end this madness. So many people have had Heroin problems because they have lowered the price to $5-$10

First they have to hire more police officers. Face it there is enough crime going on in this world today whether something was stolen, someone murdered someone or whatever. The world needs more police to do this project to stop people from purchasing this deadly stuff.

Second, Whenever the police see someone with Heroin, They should make them tell you where they got it so they can eventually arrest every Heroin seller. Eventually once they do, nobody can get Heroin from anyone.

Then, The FBI needs to put an end to the crop of Opium, which is how Heroin is made. Since most of the Opium comes from mexico, the FBI comes to arrest the Mexicans that grow Opium. Once that is taken care of, they can pull every Opium plant from the ground and burn it so it can turn into ashes and never produce heroin again.

In Conclusion, every body would be free from the drug and live a normal life. It may take a while to get used to but if Eric Clapton can get off drugs, anyone can.

  4. As everyone probably knows already(except for druggies) Heroine is the most dangerous kind of drug that you can become addicted. It’s addictive because it gives off an intense high that completely blocks all thoughts or feelings of Anxiety, pain and depression, etc. Which would be good if it wasn’t for the completely obvious fact that it can KILL you and completely ruin you and everyone you know and love’s life.

People have always been suggesting ways to stop the spread of this drug as long as the drug has been around. People typically suggest that cops that step up in numbers and crack down drug users. Well for one there are cops that do drugs so that really wouldn't work so well. And two, the 3rd amendment right say’s “Prohibits quartering of soldiers in private homes without the owner's consent during peacetime.” meaning law enforcement can’t go into your house to search for drugs unless they know for a fact you are in possession of said drugs or have your consent. Correct me if I’m wrong but don’t most people do illegal drugs in their home because they are way more likely to be caught doing it in a public place.

It may be the most dangerous drug out there, but people like to overlook that because #1:It makes you feel good #2:It’s very cheap($5-$10) and #3: There’s a lot of it.

Trust me, drugs(especially heroin) are not going away anytime soon but at the very least we could administrate a kind of antidote that helps with the addiction to drugs if the death toll from the drugs start taking their effect. And it just so happens that they do It’s ironically another drug called Naloxone. It completely reverses the effect of the drug if it stops the persons heart. They need to advertise these drugs in stores because if we can’t stop them, we can at the very least save them from getting killed by heroin.
That’s what I think we should do to help stop the spread of more and more heroin, or at least save a life.

  5. I think personally we should stop putting heroin in regular medication because we’re basically making people and kids addicted to heroin by giving it to them in pills. We should find a different alternative for painkillers instead of all this heroin, morphine, oxycontin, and all the other crap they’re using these days, its truefully sad. According to the National Institute on drug abuse heroin gives an instant euphoric high, releases its users from all feelings of pain, depression and anxiety, they put opiates, the addictive part of heroin, in medication you take and thats basically already the beginning of something you won’t be able to overcome so easy as it states in the article “6.8 million americans abuse their prescriptions that are painkillers by crushing them up and snorting them or injecting them to achieve a heroin-lite high.” We have access to so many things such as plants from nature we haven’t experimented with, we can explore all the plant life to find something else for peoples pain, my thinking is if it’s there it’s there for reason, I mean come on people lets do some work that actually helps the people instead just finding easy and quick ways to get money. Thats basically what this whole world has come down to, people only caring about profit and not the well being of americans.

  6. I think heroin is a problem because it is bad for people and it is a deadliest drug you could possibly have. Another fact about heroin is driving in demand is, an estimated 6.8 million Americans abuse these pills, crushing them and snorting or injecting them to achieve a heroin-lite high. "The number of lethal overdoses between 2006 and 2010, to more than 3,000 deaths a year". Another quote "Most users don't want to die," said Karen Hacker director of the Allegheny County Health Department in Pennsylvania. "They're not looking to commit suicide they're looking to get high."

I think people should stop selling heroin because it is a bad and disgusting thing to and get into and get addicted to it. I also think people should stop with anything drugs related because people would be nicer and have a better health and life to live. How we could stop it is we could arrest the people who are selling it and people who are buying it to.

  7. “By the time that you figure out it does destroy your life,” said former addict Aram Homampour, “you’ve lost power of choice.” “you can get a bag of 7 to 10 percent purity for $10. That means users no longer have to inject heroin; they can smoke or snort it, increasing its appeal to users “who normally wouldn’t come near it for fear of the needle,” says Riley. An estimated 6.8 million Americans abuse these pills, crushing them and snorting or injecting them to achieve a heroin - lite high. That’s created a boom in black - market demand which, coupled with a federal crackdown, has caused prices to soar - pushing users toward heroin. With one oxycodone pill now costing about $30, and a glassine of heroin costing a sixth of the price, switching to “smack” (as users sometimes call the drug) is a “business decision,” says Christian Moffitt, an addict interviewed by The Kansas City Star. The death toll has certainly grown since then. Unlike abusers of painkillers, heroin users never know the exact potency of the drug they’re ingesting - or if it is spiked with other strong opiates, such as the synthetic fentanyl, apparently responsible for at least 84 deaths along the East Coast in recent months. “(Users) think they’re getting regular street heroin,” said Thomas Carr, director of the Washington - Baltimore High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area, a public policy program. “Insted, they’re getting something that could kill a horse.”

I would probably get the heroin stopped by helping out with the people who are addicted to it. Also I would also stop the prescribing of painkillers and find different plants and remedies for pain. If we go out and experiment with different plants and find a different remedy for pain we can stop using opiate, the addictive part in heroin.
