At TEDxBloomington he shows how his group, Improv Everywhere, uses these scenes to bring people together.

• What is the most absurd thing you’ve chosen to be a part of?
• What are the dangerous of group-think as it relates to choices we make?
• Share a story about a time when you became close with strangers over a common issue.
• Is this guy doing something that is good, or something that is distracting and useless?  Why?
• Do you think that you could network something like what is seen in the video, so that people choose to join you?

Part Three-Ace of Spades

Write a SEVEN sentence summary about the Ace of Spades chapter (pgs. 183-197).  The first 2 sentences we did in class are below:
At the start of part three (p.181), Ed wakes up after the beating the Rose Boys gave him and was thinking of all the people that he helped, along with hoping to receive another card.  Marv comes over and takes Ed out to breakfast, which Ed finds odd because Marv is cheap, to make sure he shows up for the Sledge Game.

Select 3 different characters from your book. Compose a paragraph for each character that explains what kind of a person they are. Be sure to include textual support. Oh, and I don't mean that you should tell me what their job is- I'd rather you focus on telling me all about their personality as you demonstrate with your textual support.

in 3 separate paragraphs, explain how each character has conflict with another character. Be sure to explain how that relationship exists in relation to the conflicts you have mentioned above. This conference in total should equal 6 developed paragraphs with textual support. Do not schedule a conference and expect a grade if you have anything less.
