I support the legalization of marijuana. Cannabis (marijuana) helps with many things. It helps with many medical problems, for example it helps with nausea, vomiting, premenstrual syndrome, unintentional, weight loss, lack of appetite, spasticity, extremely painful conditions like neurogenic pain. Those are just some of the thing that marijuana helps. marijuana has some problems. There is some thing bad about marijuana. It hurt your lungs, but all smoking hurts your lungs. Marijuana is a lot safer to smoke than cigarettes, you become more dependent to cigarettes and they hurt your lung way worse. Even alcohol is worse for you according to the U.S. study was undertaken by Squeglia, Jacobus and Tapert in a San Diego State University/University of California San Diego joint doctoral program. Findings from the U.S. study, showing that alcohol use in teens causes more irregular brain function than marijuana, would seem to square with efforts in the U.K. to encourage new drug classification. In the Lancet, David Nutt at Bristol University, along with his colleagues, asked psychologists and scientifically or medically trained police to rank different substances according to how harmful they are. The study purports that experts rank alcohol (and tobacco) as more harmful than marijuana. In a list of 20 substances, alcohol came in at number five, tobacco came in at number nine, and marijuana/cannabis came in at number eleven. Those are just some of the reason why I and the more than a 1,000,000 users support the legalization of Cannabis.

TS: I don’t support the Legalization of Marijuana.
ReplyDeleteSD: One reason why I don’t support Marijuana it causes low test scores for teenagers in high school.
ELAB: Tennagers test scores are lowering because of the use of Marijuana and with their brains not working right they are doing poorly on test.
SD: A second reason why I don’t support Marijuana it can cause reckless driving.
ELAB: Marijuana can cause reckless driving because it is prohibited to drive under the use of Marijuana also Marijuana can increases a higher risk of reckless driving and slow reaction time to the driver
SD: The last reason why I don’t support Marijuana that it can cause addiction.
ELAB: Marijuana can cause addiction to younger teens because test have shown that one in six will become addicted to the use of smoking Marijuana.
CLOSER: These are all the three important reason of why I don’t support the Legalization of Marijuana.

ELAB: Some who use too much marijuana will sometimes go to the emergency rooms. Some of the marijuana will give you an THC.
SD: Even the President of the united states that the judicial branch has a bigger fish to fry.
ELAB: some people did some test and tells that most people can have a few marijuana but they can’t have a lot. If most people have a lot it means that they are selling it.
SD: This is the percent of the most addictive marijuana and stuff.
ELAB: I think that marijuana should be legalized because marijuana is more addictive by 10 percent, 15 percent for alcohol, 23 percent for heroin and 32 percent for tobacco.
CLOSER: This is why we should Legalization marijuana in every state.
TS I believe that Marijuana should be legal.
ReplyDeleteSD i believe it should be legal because it is the least addictive compared to Heroin along with cigarettes.
Elab marijuana should be legalized because due to its low 10% addiction chance 15% of people that try alcohol get addicted. 23% of people that do heroin are addicted, the last 32% that try smoking tobacco get addicted.
SD I feel marijuana is criticized unnecessarily.
Elab feel marijuana is criticized unnecessarily because people often think its this harmful substance when really its not. But people don't seem to notice that the most addictive drug compared to HEROIN which is cigarettes, doesn't get taken off of the shelf's in basically every gas station or store.
SD I feel people like to worry about the little things before the big things.
Elab In the article it says that the federal government has “bigger fish to fry” Because they have bigger problems than trying to chase down every person that has marijuana.
Closer In my opinion there are many other harmful substances other than Marijuana that the government should be focused on and have more strict laws against.
I don’t think that marijuana should be legalized. One reason is that people want to get high and not get bothered by the authorities. Which is why they go to pharmacies, make up some really weird problem, and ask for marijuana. “ Oh, my eye hurts, give me some pot doc.” When it comes to drugs, addicts will do anything to get their hands on them.
ReplyDeleteAlmost all potheads say that marijuana relieves stress. “oh I had a stressful day, i'm just gonna go take a nap, oh no, i'm gonna go get some pot and get high!” Well it does relieve stress, and it weakens your lungs, makes you loopy, and increases chances of cancer. Which also makes it worse.
But I know there are people who do want this stuff legalized, the people who are the millions of potheads who have wanted this stuff legalized ever since they first inhaled it. Especially the Jamaican and Puerto Rican immigrants. I’m not trying to be a stereotype, but if u wanna smoke pot and not have cops on your tail. Move to Jamaica or Puerto Rico. Go someplace where that stuff isn't going to affect us Americans. We already have enough problems with gluttony.

Elab This is a statement that agrees with marijuana because scientists have found that while testing the 2 products (marijuana and tobacco).
