CH15 Ant pearl was worried about Alfred limping she quickly ask do you need aspirin Alfred reapplied the doc already gave me some.ant Pearl was telling Alfred that she had the good life in her hands then a man takes it way. She go it taken away and she didn't want to see it happen to Alfred with his boxing career.
Chapter 15 begins with Aunt Pearl trying to help Alfred to make sure he is okay and not dieing. When Aunt Pearl was seventeen she wanted to sing in a Apollo Theater. Then she met Uncle John and they got married after they got married Uncle John got sick and died and never got to meet the twins. Chapter 16 begins with Alfred fighting Griffin in a boxing match. Alfred knocked out Griffin really good and hard so he couldn’t get up and fight again. Then he won the fight and knocked Griffin off his feet. Then Alfred went to the school gate and saw Harold and Lynn handing out leaflets and said to Alfred this is for you.
In chapter 15, Aunt Pearl was worried about Alfreds leg and face because he was limping and had a cut on his face from the fight. Aunt Pearl was talking about when she was 17 about a man that heard her singing in the church choir, and he wanted to sign her up for a stage show. Aunt pearl wanted to know how he did at his boxing match, and he won his match, and he also said to Aunt Pearl no because he doesn’t want to quit fighting.
Chapter 16, was about Griffin who had skinny arms and had to fight with Alfred, and Alfred’s face felt as if it had been stung by hundreds of bees. Alfred knocked down Griffin with powerful hands. Alfred won the round against Griffin. Alfred was at the Epsteins and Lou told him that he was fired for one day.
When Alfred got home he was all bruised up from the fight. So his mom starts to flip out about his face getting busted up, and how she is angry that she had to find out that he had a boxing match my Mr Epstein. so his mom started to explain why she is going to let him box because her mom was so protective.
Alfred won the fight with a ko punch. Alfred didn't look so good so so he was told to go home on the way home he having flashbacks.That He might hurt other people.

Chapter 16 Is when alfred fights in a boxing match against Griffin. Unfortunately alfred lost the match. The next day Mr. Epstein saw that alfred didn’t look good so mr epstien gave Alfred gave him the day off.
