Alfred mood in chapter 10 is mad. For an example Alfred snarled “why don’t you try?” When Henry tried to help him. Another example of Alfred being mad he said “time out.” When Henry said time, he said it was too hot, but i think he stopped because he was getting mad. The last example is when Henry said “you’re training, Alfred, you better not-.” Then Alfred said “i can take care of myself.” He was getting tired of people telling him what to do.

“Aaaargh.” Alfred gagged and spat it out. (Lipsyte 108) That was the first time Alfred have ever worn a mouth guard.
“A little, Mr. Donatelli” (Lipsyte 100) Alfred is tired from hitting the bag for so long.
“Mr. Donatelli’s not like that, he--” (Lipsyte 106) Lou Epstein insulted Mr. Donatelli and Alfred thinks Lou is frustrated.
