ReplyDeleteThe main idea of chapter 7 is that Alfred is beginning to have hope through boxing. The chapter begins with Alfred and Henry going to see Willie Streeter’s match at Madison Square Garden. Alfred was nervous because he had never been to an event like this, but he relaxed a bit when they found their seats with Jelly Belly. During the fight Willie got a cut over his eye, Willie wanted to keep on fighting, but Donatelli stopped the fight because he was worried about Willie’s safety. When in the locker Willie was yelling at Donatelli for stopping the fight and Donatelli just took it. As Alfred, Henry, and Jelly Belly where leaving, jelly saw spoon and starting to talk about the match. Spoon gave Henry and Alfred a ride, when Alfred and Henry parted way, Alfred ran into Major and Hollis. Major grabbed Alfreds arm and started walking holding Alfred.

The chapter begins with Alfred and Henry going to see Willie Streeter’s match at Madison Square Garden. Alfred was nervous because he had never been to an event like this, but he relaxed a bit when they found their seats with Jelly Belly. When they relaxed and saw Willie Streeter coming out to the ring to fight Becker. During the fight Willie’s eye got hurt and Mr. Donatelli stopped the fight. When Willie Streeter and his coaches went to the locker room, Jelly belly, Henry, and Alfred went down to see what happened to Willie Streeter and Spoon told them what has happened to Willie Streeter. After the fight and talking to Spoon, Alfred and henry rode with Spoon back home and Alfred was daydreaming about his future and becoming famous. When Alfred got to his house, Major and his gang were waiting for him and told him “lets go for a little walk”.

The chapter being with Alfred and Henry going to see Willie Streeter’s match at Madison Square Garden. Alfred was nervous because he had never been to an event like this but he is relaxed a bit when they found their seats with jelly belly. Then when the fight started Willie Streeter got cut on the Eye bad. Then Mr. Donatelli threw in the towel because of Willie’s eye. When the fight was over they meet up with a old friend of Jelly belly named Spoon. Spoon gave Alfred a ride home. Also Spoon gave him advice for him about Mr. donatelli. Then Major and his henchmen were at his front door.

Mr. Donitelly ended the match because he would not go on other whiz he might lose an eye willy was angry when he went in there. he was yelling and saying he could still go but donitelly was being smart about it so they would talk about it the next day but then they meat Spoon. Spoon is a student teacher but his name was still in the room as a one of the 7 contender but he kept getting hurt so he ended it. he dropped them off and when alfred got home he was welcomed by Mager

Alfred got nervous because he had never been to an event like this, but he relaxed when they found their seats with Jelly Belly. during the fight Willie Streeter took a nasty punch to his eye and was injured bad, In that case Mr.Donatelli threw the towel in and had a discussion with Willie. Which just turned out to be a yelling match and then Mr.Donatelli brings up the fact that he may have won but he was likely to get hurt. After the match and the yelling Spoon brings Alfred and Henry home. On the way there Spoon stated that Mr.donatelli cares for his boxers, that he even Mr.Donatelli was best man at Spoon wedding and understood he had to take time for his school degree. And when Alfred goes to his steps he sees Major and the gang and Alfred says “hey” and Major turns looks and says “come,we are gonna walk.”

The announcer came into the ring and announced the fighters, Willie Streeter vs Junius Becker, the the fight began. At first there wasn’t much going on besides dodging, then things started getting serious. Becker gets a hit on Streeter’s eye, causing it to bleed, and be vulnerable. Mr. Donatelli then stopped the fight, and him and Dr. Corey then carried Willie to the back room to heal him up. Alfred, Henry, and Jelly Belly go back there to see what was up, Mr. Donatelli and Willie get into a fight and the guys leave. Jelly Belly’s Friend Spoon then offers Alfred and Henry a ride home, when they get to Henry’s place, Alfred decides to walk the rest of the way home, too bad Major and his gang were waiting for him there.

Alfred was nervous because he had never been to an event like this, but he relaxed a bit when they found their seats with Jelly Belly. Jelly Belly got that name because he eats a lot of food. While in the match has started with Willie and Becker, while they were fighting Willie got a cut and Mr. Donatelli told the referee that they gave up. Spoon was once a boxer and he was top 6 till he got injured and Mr. Donatelli did not let him fight after that. Spoon teaches Alfred why Mr. Donatelli does this stuff its because he does not want his boxers to get hurt. After Spoon drop off Alfred at Henry’s Alfred thank Henry and his dad for their help when he got hurt that day. when Alfred got home Major and his gang was waiting for him.

The guys went into the back to see Willie but they got stop by a guy that was guarding the door but then the guy reconsigned Jelly belly and let them in. When they got in Willie bib not look too happy about giving up the fight while the doctor was stitching up willies eyes. The guys ask if they could get a ride from snooper who agreed while taking the guys home Spooner gave a little speech about his life then they finally got to Alfred house right when gt out Alfred said thank you to Henry For helping him that one night then went to bed. Alfred came out side Monday night where Major,Hollies and Sonny were waiting for Alfred to come out.
