Now that we've read the book and watched the movie, what is the main THEME in The Ultimate Gift? Answer using the following format: TS, SD, Elab, SD, Elab, SD, Elab
The theme of the book in the Ultimate Gift is “what comes around, goes around.” The theme is, what comes around, goes around because at first Jason didn't seem happy. Jason was not happy because he always wanted things, and did not appreciate what he already had. Another example of this theme is, his girlfriend ditched him when she found out he didn't have money. The instant he got the money back she came right back wanting to make love, and get money spent on her. but really he just walked out on her. The last example would be Jason had to find a friend so he asked Emily to go there with him and so she did. Emily progressed to his friend because at the end her being surrounded by people she loved (Jason) was her dream. These are some examples of the theme “what goes around, comes around” in the movie The Ultimate Gift.
One reason why, is that when Jason was doing the gift of work, and he had to put up those fence posts, it was Jason’s responsibility to do what he was told so he could move on to the other gifts.
Another reason is when Jason received the one hundred million dollars, it was Jason’s responsibility to spend it on something helpful. He chose to spend it on building a hospital for families who have someone with cancer.
One other reason is when Jason was doing the gift of a day, it was his responsibility to give the girl the best day of her life. A day to spend more time with her mother.

ELAB: The reason why this is the first theme to the ultimate gift is because if you love your family you would be able to have a family of your own. SD: The second theme of The Ultimate Gift is Love, this is show in the movie with Jason and Emily’s Mom and also his Grandpa. ELAB: The reason why this is one of the theme to the ultimate gift is because if you ever fall in love you will be able to do anything in the world in the movie Jason loved his Dad and Grandpa Red SD: The last theme of The Ultimate Gift is Responsibility, this is show in the movie when Jason Had to take Responsibility of his actions. ELAB: The reason why I saved this for last is because Jason did not know what Responsibility is till he had to take care of his own stuff he must be responsible for all the stuff he does.
The theme of The Ultimate Gift is Finding the purpose in life. Jason had to find a purpose in his life. His purpose in life is love because he had to find the love of his life. Jason had a purpose of life in family like their was this Mother and daughter that he meet in the park and that he is getting in to a relationship with the mother. That purpose in his life because he wants to start a family with this Mother and her daughter and The Mothers daughter has cancer. Jason had a lot of purpose in life but the big purpose was Friendship. Friendship was Jasons big purpose in life because he had never had any friends but while jason was changing he had meet this blind guy and he became his best Friend in the book.
