I believe that the theme of fear was presented in The Passenger. The first time when fear was presented is when he was on the bus and the monster was attacking him. This shows fear because he was frightened of the monster and he didn’t know what to do. The monster looked like he was going to kill him so he tried to run away from it, but he fell. That shows fear because he was scared of it and trying to get away. Another time when fear was presented is when the dog started barking. This shows fear because he freaked out when the dog came out of nowhere. After he found out how to have the monster go away and come back, he went back to the spot where the dog came out, to get revenge and scared the dog with the monster. So that shows fear and a little bit of revenge because he wanted to make the dog scared because it scared him.

Elaboration: The man showed fear because he started to scream and starting backing away and the bus driver didn’t hear him.
