No More Food Pyramid

  2. My opinion about this article is its ridiculous. The government made a website about healthy food we should eat. I’m sure people know how to read the nutrition facts on the package of the item they’re getting. I also don’t know why Michelle Obama is trying to make people become healthier. People eat what they think is delicious; nobody can change that besides them. I don’t think that this website is terrible and pointless but it isn’t a excellent idea. I honestly can’t believe the government made this site (ChooseMyPlate), this is a waste of their time. Simply because its made from the government, if it was made from someone that is very famous and a lot of people look up to him/her, more people would probably consider using the website. No one looks up to the government and Michelle Obama, which is why the site doesn’t get as much traffic as it could get. The article said “Michelle Obama also broke garden on a White house vegetable garden a couple years ago.” Personally, I think this sentence shouldn’t be in the article because she’s the president’s wife, and not much people look up to her. Overall I think this could be a great way to lower the obesity in the U.S only if someone that a lot of people look up to, promotes the website.

  3. Food Plate (pyramid)
    If Michelle Obama wants this to work she is going to have to change a lot of people mind. I know a lot of people that try to diet and never fully commit to it because they have children to be with or they are all were on the run and cannot stop at home for a good meal. Plus the gym cost so much that you can’t go, in this economy you have to save every penny you get. The only way to stop is to shut down all of the fast-food and to stop making candy and all other food that bad. As long as there candy and fast-food people are going to go there and get food. Plus if you try to shut down the fast-food they are going to come after you and it never going to give up. For me I like fast-food and candy and half of the people that are with you right now will soon see that people will not like you tacking away their food and they will get mad.

  4. What I believe of the food plate is very important to other people and me. If people don’t follow this food plate you can eat bad foods that can be bad for you. A lot of things prevent me from eating better; it’s mostly me that decides what I eat I can eat healthy when It comes to eating easy stuff like toms drive in its easy to not eat healthy to people.
    I think that the most important food groups are fruits and grains but other people might disagree. It’s really I’m following the food plate because I like to stay in shape. I think a lot of people would be lost without the food plate because they wouldn’t know what to eat if It was healthy or not.
    I can do a lot of things that I can do to eat a healthy, I can go workout or go for a run if I eat something bad or unhealthy for me. I can watch for fatty foods that can make it bad for me, and also by reading nutrition labels.
    My current diet is really good right now, I try to eat healthy every day and I also try to stay away from fatty foods like McDonalds and Burger King.
