  1. I think the best message or theme you can get out of the book is “two wrongs don't make a right”. The reason I feel that is the theme. Is because even though the two boys Brendan and Gary did terrible things to that group of individuals. It just doesn't excuse the jocks for beating that kid into decommission. So instead so doing time in jail he will be probably be living out the rest of his life by eating through a straw and needing help for him being mentally disabled. So you can fight fire with fire. But in the end both fires are going to go out, and what is going to be left behind is ash and destruction.

  2. T.S: I think that the theme of Can’t Get There From Here would have to be survival.

S.D: The first example of survival would be getting abused.

ELAB: In my book Maybe got a iron to her back because she didn’t clean her room that her mom told her to do. Other than Maybe in my book her friends also got abused too.

S.D: The second example of survival would be living on the streets and getting abandoned.

ELAB: Maybe and her friends were abandoned from their parents because they were being trouble at home. They have to live on the streets and they had to survive the weather of coldness.

S.D: The last example of survival would be forgotten.

ELAB: When they were abandoned, and abused they were also forgotten. They were living on the streets with no love and their parents wouldn’t love them anymore.

CLOSER: This is the theme I chose.

  3. My theme is Cooperation which means the characters who work together to solve a problem or achieve a goal.
This is what I believe is this is a good theme because its explain the book well.

Bredon and Gray are pick on a lot by the jocks.
The jocks make Bredon go off the deep end. Then he goes and shoots up the school.

Brendon gets fed up with this one jock.
Then he puts 1 bullet in both knees so he has a slow painful death. The kid watching were very scared and wording if they were next. Bredon achieve his goal to follow the plan.

Then the plain was going good but Gray kill himself.
But bredon had his back turned and got pinned by the people that got free. Then the jock started beating him. Bredon was in a comma but he got his career runned.

This show Cooperation because he had bad times but he did it but not in the best way.

  4. TS:In the book “Staying Fat For Sarah Byrnes” I would have to say the theme of the book is sticking together for 3 reasons.

Sd: The first reason I think the theme is sticking together is because of how Eric and Sarah have been there for eachother.

Elab: I believe this because Eric has always been there for Sarah in her time of need and Sarah has always been there for Eric in his time of need. The literally only have each other so they have to have each others backs to maintain their powerful relationship(and to stay sane and keep out of trouble). Because without each other, Sarah would be stuck with her abusive father and Eric would only have his mom.

Sd: The second reason I think the theme is sticking together is because of how Eric and Sarah work together to overcome obstacles in their path.

Elab: Eric and Sarah like I said before have always been there for eachother especially in their recent stat because Eric just figured out what really happened to Sarah and how her father was involved. He was then especially there for Sarah knowing that she was scared not just on the face but mentally as well.

Sd: The third and final way I think the theme is sticking together is because of how much they care for eachother and how their strong friendship has survived as long as it has.

Elab: It is no secret that Eric really cares about Sarah but he just doesn't say it directly to her you can tell because he get’s to the bottom of the solution to try to find out what happened to Sarah and help her with the problem. He even took a knife to the throat for her just to help find her mother(who committed suicide and told her she would) and put her father behind bars. Sarah stick up for Eric because he didn’t know how to stick up for himself and is not as tough as she is.
Closer: These are the 3 reasons why I think the theme of the book is sticking together.

  5. TS: I think that the theme of this book is Perseverance these characters don’t like to give up.

SD: The First example of Perseverance is when Leo got kicked out of Purge’s press conference.

Elab: When Leo was trying to meet his biological father King Maggot, the lead singer of Purge, he met some roadies when they kicked Leo out of the press conference because they did not believe that Leo was King Maggot’s son. So Leo went to the manager at the hotel they were staying at to show him proof that he was King Maggot’s son. With a couple of DNA tests, The manager saw that he was his son and eve made him a roadie for the summer tour.

SD: The second example was when the Guitarist Neb Nezzer got hernia when doing a perfect splits.

Elab: When purge was rehearsing before their Opening Night in San Francisco, Neb Nezzer tried to practice what he could do in the 80’s, the splits, for the closing act, he got sent to the emergency room and could not play for 2 weeks. But the band did not give up, they decided to get on with the tour and they got a replacement guitarist while Neb was recovering because the show must go on.

SD:The final example is when the band lost the oversized poodle, Llama of the drummer, Max Plank.

Elab: Max Plank ended up bringing Llama on the tour because his wife was on vacation so Max was stuck with him. Meanwhile at some point, Llama ended up on a conveyor belt at a pretzel factory while eating raw dough and almost got cooked and the manager did not want to do anything about it, Max was sleeping and the other roadies did not like Leo so he could only get one person to help and that was his bio-dad, King Maggot. Eventually they saved Llama and got him back to Max.

Closer: That is why this book’s theme is perseverance.

  6. Theme for the book The Girls is drama.
The first part that show drama is when Candance is being mean to Maya.
Elab Candance is being mean to Maya because she is a little baby Candance thinks which is a mean name to call some one.
The second part that shows drama is when Darcy doesn't invite Maya to her birthday party.
Elab I think Darcy didn't invite Maya to her party because she is not a popular girl and she doesn't fit in.
The third part that shows drama is when Darcy pranked called a woman and blamed it on Maya.
Elab Darcy I think did the prank call which was rude and very disrespectful because just to try to get attention and become more popular.
Closer That is my theme for the book The Girls I hoped you liked it.

  7. TS My theme for the book After Tupac and D Foster is friendship.
SD The first place in the book this theme is shown is in the beginning.
Elab In the beginning of in the book, act one it's also known as, the protagonist tells how her and Neeka are childhood friends. Then towards the end of act 1 the protagonist started sharing about her secrets to Neeka.
SD The second place this theme is shown is towards the middle of the book.
Elab Towards the middle of the book, act two, the protagonist and Neeka meet D Foster and build a friendship right from the beginning. D was very honest with them and hid nothing from the start.
SD The last place friendship was shown is at the end of the book.
Elab Friendship was shown at the end when the protagonist, Neeka, and D mourned over Tupacs death together. Then D was honest and told them she was leaving to go back and live with her mom, and D kept in touch with even after she moved.
Closer those are the reasons why I think the theme is friendship.
