  1. “The only disability in life is a bad attitude” is a quote that relates to my life since I am a kid with Autism. Autism is literally a disability but the only reason it is treated like a disability is because I sometimes have a bad attitude about it. I often say that I just want to be normal because life is harder with autism because It’s more work and it is harder to make friends but what also makes it a lot harder is when you complain about it because if you don’t complain about it you could just live your life normal when you think positive about it. Matt Jeffers has gone through a lot of adversity with his height with his mother dying but he is a good actor and got to be on TV and smart enough to give advice to the Baltimore Ravens because if you stay positive about life, good things can happen.

  2. ts This is how anyone can overcome adversity in life and make the best of that.

sd The first example is when you don't want to do something.

elab The thing you might not like could be one of them easy game but the hardest and fun. Then you just have good times.

sd the next example is when your having a bad day.

elab Then your friend come up to you want to do something you shouldn't be a stick in the mud go and have fun.

Matthew Jeffers had a good thing to say because he made the best of it (the only disability is a bad attitude). Matthew Jeffers had a good attitude and then he got he got through. That means if you can't do something you don't want to but you can.

I’ve been through diversity because my grandma died from kidney failure. Before I watched this video I sort of felt sorry for myself, and it is okay not to be perfect. I am happy for who I am as a person. Matthew Jeffers said in the video that, “Life doesn’t care about streaks.” I would say that you are stronger than you believe, braver than you think. Matthew Jeffers had a skeletal dysplasia where he is only 4’2 and had several surgeries when he was younger and he can’t grow anymore. His mother had stage 4 cancer and they were thinking whether or not she was going to be in hospice care. He said “is life far?” now you tell me “is life fair.” When I heard that life is not fair I was thinking to myself that life is not fair sometimes because you have to think about it.

  4. How does this quote relate to life? I have a bad attitude sometimes to because I don't work hard enough and that why I have a bad attitude. When i dont do good in classes and that effects my grade. I also listen to my music so I am not having a bad attitude anymore.
The only disability in your life is a bad attitude because people who don't work hard and win because they had a bad attitude when they lose in a sports and give up and blame each other for there lost. Mathew Jeffers is a boy that is making a differrence about a bad attitude in a game verses at different things in life that you do.

  5. This quote relates to my life in a way. Back when I was around 7-8 years old I started developing Flexor muscle and back pain. This is where the muscles in my legs and back where tight. sometimes they were very sore at random and not just from laying/sleeping on them wrong. I had to go to the Hospital to get tested for Spasticity, parkinson(since that runs into the family) and other back problem symptoms and medical jargon. They stuck a large needle in the middle of my hand to draw blood. They also performed some kind of acupuncture on me where they stuck multiple needles in my legs and back(which they had to knock me out for). It turns out that I had very tight muscles in the Legs and Middle and lower parts of my back. This wasn’t really great news for me and my parents since this is the kind of tight muscles where it makes it very difficult to run for long periods of time, harder to play sports and makes it virtually impossible to touch your toes or do certain stretches.
The quote “The only disability in life is a bad attitude” actually kind of relates to my situation because I've stayed positive the whole time having this. I still have it and I stay optimistic about it because it still doesn't stop me from running, biking and doing other extra curricular activities. That is why this quote relates to my situation.

  6. The only disability in life is a bad attitude, before seeing this video I never felt sorry for myself because I realized I’m lucky to be who I am, I’m lucky to have a brother like mine and I’m lucky to have this rare genetic disease because it makes me who I am. When I saw this video I was inspired to push myself to my limit at everything I do, because it just shows you could have a genetic muscle disease and still do whatever you put your mind to no matter how hard it is, you still push yourself for the best. As Matthew Jeffers said The Only Disability in Life is a Bad Attitude, I watched that video and really listened to what he was saying, what really came out at me was him saying, life doesn’t care if you want to win, if you need to win, at the end of the day life is simply unfair. I just thought back and remembered he has skeletal dysplasia and he only stands at 4 foot 2 and along with that he’s had over 20 surgeries, his mom has stage 4 cancer and they were discussing weather not they should do hospice care and so many people in the world feel bad for themselves. Then I replayed it and at the end he asked if life was fair and all you have to show for it is a loss and over time, now you tell me, is life fair? I thought wow life is not fair I and my brother were born with an extremely rare medical disease and Instead of trying my best I was dwelling on it and it hit me, I try my best and push myself to the limit I could surprise many people and aspire them to try their best. Everyday I wake up and say the only disability in life is a bad attitude and I totally forget about my disability sometimes, I push myself everyday and inspire others to try their best as i do and NEVER HAVE A BAD ATTITUDE.

  7. The Only Disability in life is a bad attitude

this was sent via email by matthew jeffers to head coach of the ravens football team. the email pretty much said that giving petty towards your self is not going help by just sitting there feeling sorry for your self you got to get up brush yourself off and do something about it.because matthews mom had died and he had to go through 20 different surgeries and he still had a positive outlook on life. i find it relates to me the most because i have gone through a lot of diversity like 5 surgeries, my parent going through divorce and one custody disagreement after another. those are my reasons why the video relates to me the most
