At the start of part three (p.181), Ed wakes up after the beating the Rose Boys gave him and was thinking of all the people that he helped, along with hoping to receive another card. Marv comes over and takes Ed out to breakfast, which Ed finds odd because Marv is cheap, to make sure he shows up for the Sledge Game.

At the start of part 3 (181), Ed wakes up after the beating the Rose boys gave him and was thinking of all the people he helped, along with hoping to receive another card. Marv comes over and takes Ed out to breakfast, which Ed finds odd because Marv is cheap, to make sure he shows up for the sledge game. When Ed and Marv get to where the game is being held, the game is nearly ready to start. Ed is in his team uniform within minutes, no one seems to care that he is all bloody and bruised up and Ed leaves the Doorman under a tree with Jay, a boy who happened to be there. Soon the game starts and Ed metaphorically gets killed. The man that Ed is suppose to tackle, isn't giving Ed a chance to do anything, but then Ed finally gets an injuring hit on him, accidentally, the game is over. Ed goes back to the tree where he left The Doorman, the boy that was watching him wasn’t there, neither was the Doorman.

ReplyDeleteEd shows up to the Sledge game, he finds out that he is paired up with a big guy and he gets smashed repeatedly. by this dude. at half time they decide to switch the play up, they juke the big guy and he falls and is hurt and has to be put on a stretcher. when the guy got put on a stretcher Ed suddenly felt bad about what he did. after the game and was about to go home, he realizes that he doesn't have the Doorman and he starts to panic because he doesn't know where he is.
When Ed go there no one cared that Ed got beat up, they thinks its normal for people to get jumped.When they were handing jerseys to all the players Ed got number 12, so he look on the other team who had 12 and it was this huge guy. So during the game the other guy kept killing Ed over and over, after awhile Ed told the guy to run to him when he gets the ball.When the guy got the ball he ran towards Ed and big collision happened, Ed was still standing, so everyone surrounded Ed and no one cared that that guy even though he was laying there motionless. Afterwards Ed went back to where the Doorman and and the little boy were, when he got there they weren't there.

Ed let the Doorman sit by a kid name Jay and he told Ed that he would take good care of him. On the other team the is a person name Mimi while they were playing Ed got killed and he keeps on getting killed by Mimi. After a while Ed gets mad and knock out the guy. After he knock him out Ed got enough and went to see his dog, but the Doorman is not there and the kid is also gone.

After breakfast Ed and Marv go over to the grounds where he remember seeing Sophie run barefoot at the athletic track,As he got closer he could start to smell the beer. The Sledge games have been held on the first Saturday of December every year, when he shows up to the team he is throwing a blue jersey with red and blue stripes there team is the colts. before the game start Ed quietly ran to the doorman and seen that there was a kid sitting there by him, Ask him if he could watch his dog for him and and back to the field. As the game begins the Falcons kicks the ball first Ed makes his first run and gets crushed,He runs a second time and gets killed again. As Ed got the ball he seen Mimi running and Ed lined him up and knocking him down and after the games Ed felt bad about knocking out Mimi.

Then Ed has to pay a kid $20 dollars for his dog and the card. also that he has to find street names in the authors books. Ed has to go to a restaurant, movie theater and a the Tatupu’s place. Then Ed finds out that his mom has a date at the restaurant. Ed has to buy new lights for the tatupu's place.
