After viewing this video about Marine misconduct, answer the following questions:
1. Is every soldier, fire fighter, or police officer a hero? Why or why not?

When someone is a soldier, firefighter or police officer they’re not always a hero. People like them who have a lot of power, occasionally abuse it. Not every cop is a good one. Some might be involved with drugs, child molesting, drunk drive while not on job, and other illegal crimes. If a cop takes you to court, usually the judge would believe the cops scenario more than yours just because the cops are working for the law and you’re not. The same goes with the firefighters, but it’s a tad bit different for the soldiers. Everyone thinks that the soldiers are one of the biggest heroes of all, but really they’re not. They do illegal activities and get away with it because everyone thinks that they’re good people. Some of the activities the soldier did are, urinating on Taliban soldier, smoking marijuana, and threw a dog off of a cliff.
ReplyDeleteA heroic soldier, firefighter, and a police officer have much more unprecedented qualities then the others. What makes them a hero is having responsibility, being honest, caring about others, nice, and doesn’t abuse their powers. When they have those qualities, they are more of a hero than the others because they take their job little more serious. You can also sometimes tell if they’re a hero, or a loser in disguise.
Not every solider, cop and firefight a hero, because you always see cops getting in trouble with people and drugs. Solider are in the spotlight to because they all always fooling around and trouble too.
ReplyDeleteSome of the way solider, cop, and firefight show heroic is being, brave and respectful. One example of solider, cop, and firefight show heroic is bravery, because they have to be brave to do their jobs. When a fire fight run into the burning building they have to be brave to save the little boy trapped in this room. And when the solider run into the line of bullets to takeout the target he has to be brave or they fail the mission. When the cop has to break down the door to a drug lab (Jeff house) he has to have to be brave to take down the druggy. (Jeff)
One example of solider, cop, and firefight show heroic is when he show respectful to other when in the line of duty. When a solider show respect to the other on the job when they ask for a mag and you give him one, to show respect his help on the team. When a cop takes down a man for shooting his partner he show respect to not kill him and to have him put in jail. And fire fight show respect when he volunteer to work to save live.
The point I and trying to say is that not every solider, cop, and firefight is a hero.

ReplyDeleteEver soldier, police officer, or fight fighter can be a hero but some of them decide not to take that route and those unfortunate people of our society are not your friends. Because those people decide to make poor decisions in life that are not beneficial to other people and those people who decide to make those poor decisions in the long run have a poor life. If I was on the police force or a fire fighter or even a soldier in the U.S. Military I would try my hardest and my best to be beneficial to our society but to other citizens as well.
