  1. These essential questions of heroism are answered the making of a commando. “ The work is brutally hard, the fitness regimes are as harsh and uncompromising as any program in the free world. Nothing but the highest possible standard is acceptable.” This show heroism because you have to be the best at everything you do, to make a cut. On that note to be the best you will have to show “courage, patriotism, strength, determination, refusal to accept defeat, brain, expertise in all they did.” And even with all of that training you can still become a bigger hero by signing up for the seal, ranger, or special ops. I could talk about army and every one being a hero for hours, but we have better thing to do. These are some of the qualities that make the ranger, seal, and special ops heroes in our culture.

  2. These essential questions of heroism are answered in The MAKING of a Commando. The article answered the question of “Are heroes made or born?” by stating “The course severely restricts calorie intake and sleep”. This shows heroes being made because they have to train themselves to not eat or sleep for a long time. Another example of heroes being made is by trying “Nothing but the highest possible standard”. This also shows heroes being made because they have to try the hardest they can even through the hardest obstacle. “The work is brutally hard, the fitness regimes are as harsh and uncompromising as any program in the free world.” Shows people being made into heroes. That quote shows heroes being made because the Navy SEALs program is extremely difficult and if they want to succeed they’re going to have to give it their all despite the emotional and physical pain they’re going through. These are a few examples of how heroes are made from the article The MAKING of a Commando, there are still many more in and out of the article.
