Jessica’s brother was a hero because he was always there for her and he was trying his hardest to help her out. When Jessica was in her teens she was going through some rough but her brother was with her every step of the way just as a brother should be she had a very good caring brother. A time in my life when I was going through some hard times my friends were there for me to help me out just as friends should be. During the situation my sister was in the hospital because she could not walk and I was worried about her so I needed someone to talk to. I told my friends as best as I could why my sister had to go to the hospital and they felt worried about her as well. But in the end what happened my sister was only something minor and she should be fine.
Here are two example of why Jessica's brother, Adolfo, is a hero. One example is that when he would be the only one talk to her and talk her what is wrong. Her mom and dad didn’t really care about her and never ask her how she doing or what she is doing. The second example of Adolfo showing heroism is when Adolfo called up Jessica’s school and asks them about her grade. When she got home Adolfo and Jessica had a long and a little crying talk. Now him and her talk a lot more and have a stronger bond. When I was camping, me and my friend where riding are bike and a kid fly past use and he was riding a electric scooter. That was the moment that I want one for myself. Me and my dad where in the line to check out with my dad holding my new electric scooter. When I started to give the person my money for the scooter, it turn out that I need 10 more dollar to buy it. (I was sad.) But my dad gave me the extra 10 dollar to pay for it all. After all this time I don’t think I thank him at all.
In the story Brotherly Love, Jessica’s brother Adolfo showed a lot of characteristics of a hero. One characteristic is when he “decided to call up my school and find out what was up”. This quote displays Adolfo having courage because he actually really cares about his sister and wanting to know what was wrong with her, so he called the school to see if any of the teachers know. Jessica stated “I’m not screwing up in school any longer. I changed schools and I actually like it now”. This is an example of Adolfo being generous hero because he is willing to help Jessica with her life problems and get back on track to graduate. The third characteristic Adolfo shows is humble. He was humble because he wasn’t freaking out at her; he was more calm and understanding to her. These were just 3 out of many characteristics Adolfo shows of heroism. I had a time in my life when someone helped me in a tough time. I was in middle school and I was failing about almost every class. I didn’t get anything that they tried to teach me, and didn’t take school too seriously because I didn’t like school and had a really bad Xbox addiction. Then one of my teachers sat down with me and tried to teach me independently. She helped me learn what I needed to learn, helped me with my projects, and helped me pass my classes. Without her help high school would have been much harder.
