Jemma Merritt was trying out for cross country at school and so she got bored with the coach talking. Jemma was very snooty with this other girl how was also trying out and her name is Kim Stanberg. Then Kim got lost to so both Jemma and Kim had to get out of the woods so they can get back in the race. Then Jemma found a little pond and then Kim came by looking for her glasses then finds them and they were cracked and it was hard for Jemma to trust Kim because her life was tough and Jemma’s dad was always working and her cat runway and her mom left her.
It is hard to trust people after you have been hurt, but it is important to try. Trusting my brother with something very special and he broke it and I very mad at him. I was so mad at him I did not talk to him for a week. I wanted to break something of my older brothers but I knew that was wrong and I would get in trouble with my mom and dad so I didn’t do it so that didn't happen to me.

With her dad working late she alone at the house. Her cat ran away jem try to look for it day and night up and down alley way but could never find him. Jem rescued a cat off the streets to fill the hole that her my left but no long ago the cat ran away also. Jem had trouble kim because she remember the people and pet left her there her life. So it was hard to trust someone you just meet.
New people i meet at school because i don’t know them when i left our old neighborhood. So I would keep some distance from people in a few week’s. But until i met someone name alexis we talk and after awhile we had things in common with each other.An after that I started trusting people.
Jemma had no trust in Kim when she says " I bandanna on the wrong path. When Jemma pick up Kim glasses. When Jemma says " Sorry you probably got caught up with others if you wouldn't come back. You should you're a great runner and that mean she can help her get back. Jemma has a hard time trusting her because mom left and she live her dad and her 2 cats ran away.

When I kept asking him he says ¨ No I can play. My heart and my trust was broken. That when my trust was broken.
