Elements of Story - Plot : The Passenger

After viewing The Passenger, explain the PLOT (Act 1, Act 2, Act 3) as it relates to the short film.

  1. (Plot):In the animated movie The Passenger the protagonist is reading a book called the passenger while taking a stroll on a rainy day.
    When walking along the same path that he recognizes he looks in the holes of a fence to see if a certain dog is there.(Conflict):Just when he thinks the dog is not there he opens his umbrella and the (Antagonist):dog comes at the fence and starts barking like he’s got rabies or something.
    Than a bus pulls up and he gets on it and sits in the way back.
    (Complication):There he stumbles upon a fish that spazzes out (Fall of hero):It transforms into some kind of fish monster when the protagonist plays music. He does not notice it because of how loud his music is, but when he does start to notice it he turns his music off and the fish returns to it’s normal state. Then when he leaves his music on the fish chases him and tries to kill him then he trips and (Resolution):accidentley unplugs his caset and the fish once again returns to its normal state. Then it hits the protagonist that the monster is triggered by his music which gives him the idea to get some revenge/Troll the dog from earlier.

  2. In the short clip, The passenger,the character was a man. in the story, it is rainy while a man is reading a book while getting to a bus stop. In the conflict, he gets to the stop and almost gets attacked by a dog. For the complication, he gets on the bus, he sits next to a fish. The man turns on his music and the fish turns into a monster and the monster attacks the man. In the fall of the hero Later he realized the fish hated the music because whenever the man pushed play, the fist turned in to the monster. In the resolution when the rain is cleared up. The man turns the fish back into the monster so the monster attacks the dog for attacking him.

  3. The Passenger is about a kid, the protagonist, that reads a book that comes alive. The conflict happens when he walks to the bus stop and then jumps because of the dog that scared him. The complication is when just then a bus pulls up and he gets in the bus. The fall of the hero is when he puts his headphones on and then he turns and see a fish that is about to eat him alive. Where it is in a bag just sitting there then he turns his music on then he sees this big monster fish and fights it. The resolution is when the boy gets revenge on the dog so the big fish scared him.

  4. In the short clip “The Passenger” (Act 1) one character was the protagonist/passenger and the two other characters were the antagonist. The first CONFLICT was him walking down the street and looking through a crack in the fence and seeing nothing then he started to walk forward and all of a sudden the dog pops out of nowhere barking at him. The second CONFLICT was him getting attacked by a monster fish.(Act 2) The COMPLICATION was the monster fish popping out of the bag and trying to eat him. The FALL OF THE HERO is when the protagonist was going to be eaten by the monster fish/antagonist. (Act 3) The RESOLUTION was him getting the monster fish and scaring the dog with it.

  5. In the short clip, “The Passenger,” it was a dark spooky night and the protagonist was walking by himself. The protagonist was walking and reading a book called the passenger, that book came to life. In act 1, When the passenger was walking he looked through a fence where he saw nothing. The conflict was when the passenger was walking down the sidewalk while reading his book and out of nowhere this dog was barking and scared the passenger. In act 2, this bus came and the passenger got on it and sat down in the back. The complication happens as he sat down, he was listening to music and there on the other side of him was this fish that was cute but all of a sudden bang! the fish turned into a monster. When the monster tries to eat the passenger, the cord gets pulled out and the monster turns back into a fish. In Act 3 the resolution. When the bus stopped, the passenger took revenge on the dog. The passenger put the fish down by the fence where the dog was and put the headphones on the bag of the fish and the passenger puts music on and the fish turned into a monster to scare the dog or eat him.

  6. The day started with a walk and then a storm broke out. While the passenger, the protagonist, was walking in a neighborhood, a dog that came out the fence and scared him, which is the conflict. The bus pulled out of nowhere he got on the bus and sat down also continue to read his book. Then he look at the seat right next to him was a fish. Then he turned on his music on and the (the complication) fish turn into a monster. Then he slowly look at the fish and was scared before he knew it he was on the (the fall of hero) bus floor he was getting trap fast the bus turn fast and rip headphones form the player. Then he figured it off and on going in and out of it. (resolution) After that he got off at the bus stop with the dog and put the fish right where the dog came out.

  7. in the story “The Passenger” the main character has a problem with a dog that keeps barking at him when he wants peace and quiet while he reads. so the main character to a bus away from the dog but he met a fish on the bus that doesn't like music. In act one the main character meets the conflict which is the dog barking at him, then going on to act two the complications of the story, being the fish turning into a monster will be showed as well as “the fall of the hero” which is where the main character is confronted with the worst possible situation.Act three is where the story starts wrapping up and the dog gets eaten by the monster solve(-:
