  1. The theme of Eminem’s 60 minutes interview is overcoming obstacles.

One reason is because his entire childhood was rough and abusive, he was beaten up at home and at school. But he managed to suck it all in and take it.

Another reason is that he overdosed on drugs and alcohol and almost died, if he hadn't gotten to the hospital right away, he would’ve died. It was a long road to recovery, but now he has learned from his mistakes and doesn't do any more drugs or alcohol.

One other reason is that people think that the lyrics to his songs are like how he treats his and other people’s children, but he tells them that its the parents job to be a parent and limit what their children can and can’t watch.

  2. I think eminem theme on 60 mins is passion. Eminem is and always will be passionate he loves his music, and his kids more than most of the world loves them self. He is the best white rapper known to man. He grew up a nobody on the 8 mile in Detroit a very bad part of town, he got beat up as a kid in school and never passed the 9th grade. Yet he always loved english and read the dictionary over and over again to keep the words stored in his brain. He also keeps a box full of words and ideas that he calls his ammo for his future raps. After watching the clip I was shocked I never realised how much he got into his music even in front of a large crowd. His family is also a passion for him. He also said that he would find his kids no matter where they are or how much money he had he said he would always be there for them. Which reminded me a lot of my dad and all he has done for me and I know he would do the same.

  3. The theme of Eminem's 60 minutes interview is learning. From a young age he had to lean how to survive without a father, moving to 6 different school and how to rap. Even when he got out of the broken house to become a famous rap artist. But now he has to learn how to live with criticism and hatred from mother. (If they don't like it then they should stop buying them the cd.) He had to take drugs to get through the day, to the point he almost die. Then the new batch of lessons he had to learn to cope with his daily live without drugs. Now he is touring the world to promote learning.

  5. The theme of Eminem’s 60 minutes interview is overcoming obstacles.
After his addiction with drugs came to close.
Once that the rehab was done he would overcome this obstacle because he came too close to dying with the addiction.
He had to face another obstacle was learning how to write music.
This obstacle was hard for him because he was off his addiction and trying to come back on to his feet again. He has been sober for the past 3 years and has not gone on the drugs and alcohol.
Another obstacle was finding his way in his music and life.
This was hard because he had to stop the drinking and drugs and to find to a way to come up with new music. He has come up with new music and is still off the drugs and alcohol.

  6. The theme of Eminem's 60 minutes interview is “overcoming obstacles.”
The theme is overcoming obstacles because, in Eminems life he has always had to be the new kid. Him always being the new kid he would always get picked on and beat up. So in this case he would try fighting back and getting his name out there by going to the underground clubs. Another example of overcoming obstacles would be about him swearing in his Cds. He got over this because he explained that he has nothing wrong with them, and that it was just a common word used where he is from. The last example is him being white. Him being white in a all black neighborhood caused him to get picked on. Because of that he would have to always change schools like 3 times a year. In the end of this journey he calls life, he is very successful and will continue to be so.
