  3. The short movie is called The Passenger. The main character was boy walking and reading. His conflict at first is this dog he knows is there. The complication is the fish that’s right next to him on the bus that changes into a monster when he plays his music. The worse part for the character is when he realized the fish has changed “The fall of the Hero”. At the end of the movie he realized how to control the fish and solves his first conflict with the dog “Resolution”.
There is two parts for setting, there is when and where. I guess it’s taking place in the 1980’s, because no one uses tapes anymore. Where it takes place is on a side walk and on a bus.
There is different kind of characters. There is protagonist which is the character with the conflict. Antagonist is the character that keeps the protagonist from reaching his goals. Which in the “The Passenger” are the dog and the monster fish, because he is trying to relax and read and they are keeping him from relax. There are also static characters that stay the same throughout the whole story (dog and the fish). Dynamic is the opposite of static were the character changes (boy). Flat is where the characters are not developed (bus driver). Last is round where the characters are more developed (boy, dog, fish).
The point of view in The Passenger was 3rd person limited, because we only knew what the character knew the whole story.
There is two parts to conflict internal and external. The internal conflict is him vs. himself and that means him vs. his emotions. For example he scared of the dog behind a fence. External is him vs. another character, like him vs. the fish that tries to kill him. Then he uses the fish to scare the dog.
I think the theme of the story is revenge, because he deals with the dog all the time, so as soon as he found out how to control the fish, he uses the scary fish to scare the dog.

  4. The plot of the movie is that the boy was reading a book so when it was starting to rain how “bam!” a dog came out and scared the person to death. The conflict was that the person was afraid of the dog. The dog driven him crazy he hates that dog a lot because that dog always tries to attack him. The complication is that every time he turns on his music the fish becomes like Godzilla but then when he turns it off the fish goes back to its self. The fall of the hero was when the person had to deal with the fish the fish was an alien. So the bus driver was not even paying action to the people who are at the back now the fish is going to kill the person. The revolution is that The guy was attack by the dog and I thought that it was all about that, but it was the fish and fish try to kill him by eating him, when he uses the fish to scare the dog away forever.
The micro setting is when the he was on the sidewalk and on the bus. He was reading a book and he did not know that the dog was still there. The man was always so worry about that dog till he got on the bus the fish was the thing that the fish was trying to do was try to eat the boy to for that very bad song so the fish was all mad. When the fish became all big the guy was about to be killed by it but every time the fish was just about to attack the song stops.
The character is a protagonist is the person who is trying to read a book that he love or did not read yet the person. The antagonist is the dog because the dog is trying to make the person be able to read the book so he will never get to read the book he wants to read. The static is the fish and the dog because they stay in the movie the whole time we are watching it.
The point of view is the 3rd person because the narrator is telling to story of the movie so when the person gets on to the bus the man did not see that the fish will grow to become an alien. The narrator was telling us the story of the people who is at the man was always scared of the dog. We did not know that the head phones where the reason that the fish was all going big on the man and he did not even hear it.
The conflict is individual VS individual because the anime in there was trying to hurt the person. The dog was trying to bite the person but the wall was in his way. The fish is the other thing that he has to deal with because of the music he was listening to the fish hated it. The bus was also one because the bus driver did not help the boy who was almost killed by the fish.
The theme is fear because he is afraid of the dog because all the time he see that dog. He is also fear of the fish the fish was going to eat the boy alive. The dog was afraid of the fish because the fish was very big and the boy use the fish to eat the dog.

  5. The plot of the movie passenger is funny. In act 1The character of the movie is a boy and his conflict is a dog. In act 2 His complication is a fish that turns in to an alien. For the fall of the hero, I thought that he would be dead when he falls in the middle the aisle on the bus. Finally in act 3 the boy’s resolution is that he put the fish in front of the dog and turns on the cassette tape.
The micro setting is outside on a sidewalk. The macro of the where setting is in a small town. The when micro setting is in the afternoon. The macro of the when is in the 1970’s and the 80’s.
The protagonist is the boy and his conflict is the dog. The antagonist is the fish because he doesn’t like the music and he is trying to rip off the headset of the boy. The flat character of the movie is the bus driver because he was not developed in the movie a lot. The round characters of the movie are the boy, the fish and the dog because they were more developed in the movie. The boy is a dynamic character because he changes throughout the story a lot. The dog is a static character because he is says the same throughout the book.
His conflict is individual vs. Individual because the boy is vs. a fish that turn into alien/monster.
The theme of this story is fear because he was scared by the dog and terrified by the fish.
The p.o.v. of this story is 3rd person omniscient because we know what the character knows. For example, we know that the fish is an alien and the boy doesn’t know that the fish is an alien.

  6. The plot begins with act 1. Our main character is the boy with the book, and his conflict begins when the boy is walking by reading book, just minding his own business. When it starts raining, and the boy looks through a fence he is walking past, and sees a dog house. Just as he thought everything was fine the dog jumps out and scares him as he is walking away toward the bus stop. The complication starts in act 2. The boy gets on the bus, sits down next to a fish in a plastic bag, and starts listening to music while he continues to read his book. But then the fish gets angry and turns into a monster. The fall of the hero is when the boy finally notices the monster, and the boy is crawling to the front of the bus trying to fight off the monster. The resolution in act 3 begins when the boy figures out that the monster isn’t mad at him, he is actually mad at the music he is listening to, and he uses it to his advantage against the dog that scared him earlier. End of film.
The micro setting at first is on a sidewalk next to fence, and then changes to being on a bus during a storm, which is where the big complication happens.
The protagonist would have to be the boy with the book, because he is just minding his own business and not doing anything wrong. The antagonist would have to be the fish because he gets all worked up whenever the boy plays his cassette player. The person with the book is trying to get to where he has to go but the fish keeps getting angry and transforming. There is a flat character in the film and that is the bus driver. Because he’s just driving the bus, and instead of noticing the boy and trying to help him fight off the monster, he focuses on a fly that’s bugging him and tries to swat it. The round character in the film is the boy, who also just happens to be the protagonist, but do we really know that much about him? Other than he likes to read, listens to music while he’s reading, and that he gets scared easily.
The point of view is told through the boy with the book’s third person omnicent perspective. Because the boy don’t know the fish is a monster, but the viewer does.
The conflict is an external conflict. Individual versus individual, because of the fight between the boy and the fish.
There are multiple words to describe the theme of this movie, but the one word I think would be the best is “Horror,” because the boy keeps getting scared a LOT, and it expects you to be scared when the boy is.

  7. Plot: The character is the alien from The Passenger. The conflict the alien is having is with the dog barking every time he walks past the fence. In act II, the complication begins when he enters the bus and sits next to a bag with a fish in it, but then he takes his tape recorder out and listens to a tape then the fish turns into a giant scaly monster. The fall of the hero happens when he is about to be eaten but he leans back and his headphone cord unplugs. In act III, the resolution is when he figures out why the fish is trying to eat him by unplugging and plugging in his headphone cord.
Setting: Where- micro was on the bus and at the bus stop. When- 1996 in the afternoon.
Character: The protagonist is the alien. The antagonist is the fish/ scaly monster. The static is the dog and the fish. The dynamic is the alien. The flat is the bus driver. The round is the alien because the alien likes to listen to music and reading also he gets scared easily.
Point of view: The passenger is being told in third person omniscient because we know more than the main character by the scaly monster and the headphones.
Conflict: external- Individual vs. individual because the alien has an issue with the dog than later on the bus it becomes the fish.
Theme: Fear. The alien feared the dog because he would walk past the fence and the dog would start barking at the alien. Another fear the alien had was the fish on the bus because ever time the alien listen to music the fish would turn into a giant scaly monster and try to eat him.

  8. The plot for act one develops character the in the book which is the boy. The conflict he has so far is the dog that barks at him when his going to the bus stop. Then for act two the complication we thought the only problem he had was the dog but that just got bigger when he got on the bus with the alien fish turning in to the monster. The fall of the hero is the worst part to happen when he has to deal with the alien fish on the bus. For the final act is the resolution is when he finds out why the alien fish turns in to the monster and later in the movie he use it agonist the dog.
The next part of the movie is setting the setting has micro and macro where he is at the bus stop then it leads to him going on to the bus that would be micro. The time of the day for in the movie is in the afternoon in are current time that would all so be micro at the same time.
Then we move on to character and I think the best the best word for the character is protagonist because he has to deal with a lot of conflict with the dog and the alien fish. Then antagonist is where the dog and the fish keep him from playing his music. Then there’s static because the dog and the alien fish stay the same so does the main character then there’s dynamic and I think that the main character has changed in the movie. Then the we move on to flat I think the alien fish is flat because we do not know that much a about the fish in the movie. Round it is different from flat because the character is more developed the main character and the fish are more developed because he has a relationship with the fish at the end of the movie.
Then we move on to the point of view I think the point of view for the character is three person omniscent because we see ever thing before the character can see it see it.
For the last one it is conflict and theme. For the conflict I would choices individual vs. individual because he has conflict with the dog and alien fish.
For the theme of the movie I would say fear and revenge because the character he gets scared by the dog and the alien fish but later in the movie he uses the fish to get revenge on the dog by using the alien fish.

  9. In the movie The Passenger, there is a boy getting a ride on the public bus. And on the bus there is a dog when he walks past to the bus stop fall of is the conflict. When he gets onto the bus there is a goldfish and he discovers whenever he plays his cassette the gold fish turns into this giant mutated thing this is also the complication. The fall of the hero is when the passenger fell to the ground and the thing almost had him but then the cassette unplugged. In the passenger the resolution is he scared the dog by placing the fish in front of the dog and playing the cassette.
In the movie the passenger. The setting is the micro is on the bus and at the bus stop. The macro is it probably happened in 2000’s and in a small town.
The protagonist is the boy because the dog kept the boy from getting to the bus stop. This then makes the dog the antagonist. The static is that the fish mutates whenever the cassette plays. The dynamic is the boy changes from thinking he was dead meat to using the fish to his advantage and using it to scare the dog and not have to deal with it again. The flat characters of the movie would have to be the bus driver along with the fish. The round would have to be the boy because he keeps trying to read and listen to his cassettes. Also that he gets scared easy by the dog.
The conflict of the movie would have to be that the dog kept the boy from going to the bus stop. This conflict is external because it is a individual vs. individual which is the boy vs. dog
The Point of View is in 3rd limited we only know that the boy dislikes the fish and the boy.
The theme of the movie is relationships. I thought this because it wasn’t a nice playful dog along with the fish wanted to eat him whenever he played the cassette.
