  1. I have learned a lot about myself and others as it relates to heroism. The first thing I learned was that hero’s view themselves as normal people. They view themselves as normal people simply because they are. They are just normal people that always do the right thing. Another thing I found out is that a hero can either be made or born. They can be either made or born because people that are made into a hero may have done something wrong before in life, and changed for the better. For example, Manuel Scott was made into a hero because he dropped out of school, experimented with drugs and was really heading for a bad future. He began to change his life shortly after one of his friends died; now he is a hero to many kids across the United States. Heroes like Michael Jordan were born a hero because they were born with talents that later impacted many lives. The third thing I learned was the difference between a celebrity and a hero. Although they share a lot of the same characteristics such as Courage/Bravery, Nobility, Outstanding Achievement, Generosity, and Humble, there is a huge difference between celebrities and heroes. There is a huge difference between a celebrity and a hero because celebrities try to show people that they are a good person but when they’re off the camera they don’t act like one, and hero’s always do the right thing and they don’t need a camera to show people. Those are just a few things I learned about heroism, but the main idea I took away from this heroism topic was that some heroes are famous and others aren’t. You can be someone’s hero, such as your kid’s. Heroes are normal people but I believe being a hero shows that you are a good person, and being a hero that never lets anyone down shows that you are truly a great person.

  2. Heroism
I can relate to many characteristics of Heroism such as courage outstanding achievement. I am very brave and I also have accomplished many of things. Such as for courage I can stand up to my fears and thrive to push through them. For outstanding achievement I have accomplished many of things in life some of which people cannot accomplish even in their whole lifetime. Heroes can also be made or born because of the way they went through life some people just are naturally heroes as for others later in life they learn what it is like to be a hero because deep down they just want to change for the better. As for me I am just naturally a hero because I know right from wrong and I just want to do what I know is right and avoid doing stuff I know will later in time have a bad consequence. Being hero shows that you can do right from wrong it shows how you know deep inside that you really care about doing things for the better and you want to change how people view you. Not as an everyday average Joe but someone who really cares about doing stuff for the better.

  3. What I learn from writing these hero paper, is that we are all hero in someone eye. How does a hero have on the impact are society? It give people hope that there are still hope of being a hero too with just a little hard work and a unbreakable will to be a hero of the people. One of those people would be Jason from The Ultimate Gift, he made a different in society by building a hospital for the sick children. The other way you can show heroisms is being humble, just as Ryan was when he save all those children. He shows being humble but not going around and telling everyone that he save all those children. The other note he was smarter but timing the stop light and how long it will take them to get there and take down the man that was using the children for money. Third way that people show heroism is when Gary show courage when he save that man at the falls. He show courage when he jumps in the water to try to save the man, when he could have just as easy to fall of the Niagra Falls. He is a perfect example of a hero. All these people have show heroism in many ways and you can show heroism too with a little will power you can be a hero too.

  4. Heroism

I have learned that heroes are a big part of our society but they only look at themselves as
being normal citizens. I think that a hero is a person who is trying to resolve something for
a better cause. It’s not like they are someone you couldn’t be, it is just that they are strong
enough to go out and do it. The reason I believe heroes are a part of our society every day is
because even if someone is getting picked on you can help them. I don’t think it takes that
much to go out of your way to give someone a hand. It would also make that person feel more
comfortable and make them have a better day. Another reason I think it is so hard to do is
because it takes a lot of traits and qualities like honesty, respect, responsibility, bravery, and
many others. The reason this is so hard to do is because people are afraid of getting picked
on themselves. But the real truth is that the everyday person can be a hero they just need the
courage to do it. So the next time you get the opportunity to make a heroic act make sure you
take the chance and try to accomplish something for the best of the people around you.
