Obligation (Quote Blending) in Orca Book

When is obligation demonstrated in your book?  Answer this in the following format: TS, SD, Elab, SD, Elab, SD, Elab, Closer.  Use "Quote Blending" in your supporting details. Hint: Find the VERB and begin with that action.  Here is an example:

TS: Obligation is demonstrated in the book Playing for Pizza.

SD: One example where obligation is demonstrated is when Rick "kicked it up a notch to impress [the Italians]" during his first practice with the Parma Panthers (Grisham 77).

Elab: This shows obligation because Rick felt like he needed to prove that he was not above the team and that he was able and willing to work hard just like everyone else.
